Chapter 25: Taste of the Good Life - Immediately found out by their 'generous' host, the team is given an interesting proposal.
This and the next chapter are probably going to be pretty lame, really. Some exposition dumping and trying to build characters up a bit. Honestly, this whole segment with Vladimir was a bit of a chore to draft up as I'm not certain if it really works out how I want it all to so I certainly won't blame anyone for losing interest when we get to the reveal and all.
Still working on actually finishing up "Act II" as I've taken to calling it. There's only four chapters left in it and I just cannot find the motivation to actually get it done despite knowing full well what I want to have happen. I guess I'll wrap it up eventually... or not, I don't really know yet. Still a bit amazed I made it this far, if I'm entirely honest.

Yeah I feel you with this. The first half is a doozy with a lot of rework room. Second you get that slow burn you want. You can finish it. Remember to lead through your characters and connect to place which is very essential here. It is not the dialogue but everything behind it. That is the real separator between boring exposition and stuff that is alive for your characters to feel with.
Beware the constant looking instead explore actions for character

Assuming I ever finish it, I guess this segment will need a lot of attention during the re-write. I am grateful that you'd stick around for it despite its glaring issues. Silver lining though: finally answered that question in that semi-"ask me anything" journal you asked about minotaurs eating hamburgers (I apologize for both the wait and poor attempt at a joke).
Despite the flaws, I very much appreciate you having given it a read. Thank you much for that.
