Oh mai. It's Nack again. Okay, I know. The black Chaos Emerald idea has been overdone. This is from a roleplay I did with ~negasonic100, basing off our own version of Mobius without SEGA's or Archie's fuck-ups. In our version of Mobius Sonic06 is partially canon too, unlike the REAL game series that said "Oopsie. We fucked up. We'll just ignore the whole thing...".
Anyway, in this Rp our greedy, smooth criminal, Nack, stumbles upon this black gem. Thinking it's worth anything, he picks it up. Big mistake. The emerald is actually Mephiles, who offers him a deal. Kill Sonic. Let me kill Shadow and I give you some of my power. Of course, Since Nack has no special powers and he really wants some, he agrees. After Mephy pretty much posesses Nack (without controlling his mind) and showing him when he can do, he sends Nack off to murder Sonic. Of course, Sonic soon realizes what's going on and tries to help Nack, since Mephiles would most likely betray and possibly kill him.

That makes me wonder if theres any form this mephiles character can't take. :) I fully agree with the fact Archie messed up & the series in a whole did when they first scrapped. I do admit I kept reading up to issue 200 & got high hopes with the short intro of Nack they made but it was only that short & even then something seemed off from the original Nack i've grown to know. wait why am I talking about Nack XDXD I get so off topic back to my silly question.
I know nothing about Mephiles other then he can shapeshift? what exactly can he do?

In my verse Nack is a bit more courageous and heartless. His REAL name is Nack the Weasel, but his nickname and the way people adress him, so his actual title is Fang the Sniper. I also might consider making him a veteran.
