Shannon is a paranormal investigator / conspiracy theorist who works with a group of friends to write articles for a paranormal magazine.
She is rather paranoid and carries around parts of a custom lever-action rifle that she can assemble at a moment's notice through magic.
In addition, she has the unique ability to see the unseen, a power she refers to a truesight. She can see ghosts, spirits, psionic beings, and people's delusions or hallucinations... whether she wants to or not. Unfortunately, she has no control over this power and cannot determine whether what she sees is a result of her power. Everything she sees is, however, real, at least to her.
