Ah, Kraken. I'm actually drinking some right now - It is tasty and affordable booze. Black rum tasting of molasses, raw sugar, nutmeg, and vanilla. It's like candied inebriation. I've found it's a perfect match for colas (Pepsi Throwback especially). Or can make an ... interesting 'Filthy Mojito'.

Another good one to find is Gosling's Black Seal Rum (http://www.goslingsrum.com/). It's very much like Kraken, only a little smoother and not as complicated a flavor. As a bonus, it has a sea lion on the label so it's furry-safe.

Meh, not so much a Kraken fan myself, left us (Steve and I) with icky day-after affects.. I'll stick to Jerry's or Appleton!
