that the presence of draconic deities of past ages is attested is a fact, for example bahamut in Babylonian times was known as marduk.
in the Middle Ages as we know dragons were persecuted to 'extinction no one knows the real reason, some because the humans of that time died ala tradition that saw them as evil beings, in draconology there is instead the theory that the root cause was a draconic deity, the finding of this drawing from the very first centuries of the Middle Ages apparently seems to support the thesis.
in fact the draconological community is divided on who is the dragon depicted in the drawing according to some it would be falazure for the cyan colored eyes, according to others being that wings are present that would actually be Null.
the truth that no one knows who it really is.

I really like this drawing, it's very engaging and historical in its style and feeling, I don't know much about Dungeons and Dragons but I hear it's a very immersive complex game but want to try it someday, I'm lazy when it comes to gaming and planning in games, strategy and such but that is interesting lore in general. Nice work :3
You're welcome and I see, interesting. Each edition has its own unique traits it sounds like? But in that complexity I suspect there's a comfort and bonding to be had as the team interacts with one another, I lack the discipline to be good at it but it intrigues me so I suspect I will learn more about it when the time is right.
