Cyra was looking up at the balloon tied to her tail. The bright pink orb bobbed gently overhead. She would have loved it on a normal day, but today wasn't that normal.

The boss had a stick up his butt after a bad day when each of the balloons she had got popped one way or another. He wouldn't let her blow them up too big now thinking that would make them harder to pop.

Not that he was entirely wrong, but the balloons didn't have the same awe to people who saw them when they came by. One of the guests who came up to her whenever they were in town noticed and made a remark about it. Cyra couldn't help but agree, and as she watched the boss finish his walk around the grounds and headed off to the other side. She smirked and caught up with the guest while she hooked up the balloon to the tank again, then turned the nozzle filling the balloon up with a loud hiss.

The orb swelled up and before it got unreasonably large, she twisted the valve shut and tightened the knot on the balloon. The boss came back around eventually and she played dumb, saying something about the heat making it swell up more. He half seemed to buy it before carrying on.




So I found this artist  catalina_ad the other week and liked their art. Seeing they were open I thought about getting something done and reached out. Thankfully she was able to take the commission and got Cyra drawn right up.

Something about the way she drew her makes me fall in love with it. I can't quite pin it but I saw this and just fell in love with Cyra all over again.
