Haha, I like how they look with just the gold leaf, so I figured I'd post. I was lazy today (back in CT visiting parents) so only 3 started. Still, there's more boards prepped.
This is also a better photo showing the texture on each, which is made by peeling back layers of bookboard in an uneven way.

I think you really captured the pieces well. The gold leaf being the icing to a masterful work. The art style of the time ala furry of course. Cant wait till i see the final product. Keep up the good work. Has an almost illuminated manuscript feel to it. It also pleases me that you used different auras behind each bust.

Wow...these are absolutely gorgeous. I thought your Noir pictures was/is the best work you have ever done, but these badges come mighty close, or even on par with them. The fact that they are a real, physical medium is incredible, and the mix of wood and gold is just so perfect (but then again, that may be due to me having such a weakness for the color gold!).
Every time I think I see you reach perfection, you come out and surprise me once more with something new and incredible, and these definitely fit that definition.
