Autumn brings seasonal depression to the lives of many people. I'm just glad that summer is over (the summers we've been having lately are unbearable.) Although autumn walks are not for me, I can see beautiful fallen yellowish-brown leaves through the car window. The thing I hate is that in my country we don't celebrate Halloween. On the internet when I complain about it, many people are surprised because they think it is celebrated everywhere in the world. Here in this country it is All Saints' Day. Anyone can read anything they like about what happens on this day, but the short and simple summary is that there are graveyard walks and old ladies praying and crying at graves. Plus combined with carrying kilos of flowers, and even more kilos of water, which of course is about half a kilometre from the graves of our own dead relatives. Add to that the religious abuse I went through as a child, and I can say that I hate this holiday with all my heart. Since I don't have to go to the cemetery, Halloween has become more of a thing and I celebrate it remotely, through online games. Also, here's this icon. Half autumn, half Halloween.
