Visiting The Great Tree
Made by @Muddy_Wolgan
Amendelwyr couldn't help but be in awe of the tree in front of her. A gargantuan thing that towered over every other bit of flora by leaps and bounds, covered with creeping vines and mosses in places. Multiple types of birds and critters lived in and around it, nesting in the safety of great distance from the ground. It had to be several dragons' lengths more than she might first estimate. And it could certainly support the weight of even her largest relatives.
Though there was a twinge of sadness to the event. She had nobody to share it with. No other dragons were there at that moment. None but her clan saw any significance to the tree. But with them gone... no. She closed her eyes for a moment and listened, her heart pleading a silent prayer.
They all whispered to her heart and she felt her mind's worries soothed with their confident presence pressing against it. She was to be here, if she so desired to follow that path. Something that The Mother would've wanted her to do.
As she opened her eyes, she looked up and smiled. Determination mixed with an eager excitement. "If there aren't any other dragons nearby... Then I'll bring them here."

Idk if Muddy will make some changes that I point out. I didn't see the extra frills going on at the time, the huge wedge for a bottom cheek horn, the extra phalange on the wing.
Gosh, I'm terrible. I get overexcited for these surprises sometimes and just... 'whoop!' happy.
But, this was just a "Thank you" gift for boosting and I am grateful that she found time for it. So while not fully 'true' to form, its still her likeness and personality. Curious, elegant, warmhearted.
Something about it just felt like I needed to write in some lore, some more history to tease everyone with. I want to write more chapters for the books themselves, some preface to the story overall, but such is how things be sometimes.
Thank you, Mud Mud.
