Quite an interesting piece. Especially since (I think so) it has been done in traditonal media. I wonder: In the background you did soften the white cloods quite nice. It works out. However, the highlights -inside- the charcter totally lack this softness. This gives him a slightly awkward appeal in relation to the background.
Maybe you should be a bit more daring with that the next tiime. I think it might work out well for you.
