Back when I was in highschool, I just went out and got it done, then got one of those bendable open rings, and tucked it inside my nose when need be ~ Ive since taken it out, and its mostly healed, but I miss it.
Also, it was wicked painful to get done, and twice as bad getting gauged.

I'd get it done and do that except whenever I pierce anything (although my experience has only been ear-related thus far) the area gets REALLY RED for a few days (it was like 2 when I got first and second holes, and 5 when I got my cartilage done. So I imagine it'll take at LEAST 5 for my nose to return to normal color xD). It doesn't even swell or hurt or anything it just gets really red.
Then again, I've been hiding my only tattoo from my mom for over a year now (I'm 20. Is that sad? Yes it is.). Truth be told, it's only the size of a quarter and it's on my hip so she wouldn't really have the chance to see it...
