The night stretched on like a vinyl record, spinning endlessly, singing its own melancholic tune. The air was thick with tension, buzzing with an energy that felt almost alive. Lapis had wandered through the wrong door, his usual confidence masking the creeping sense of danger. A group of Wolves and an Avian stood clustered nearby, seemingly an easy target-easy pickings, or so he thought. With a calculated move, Lapis crossed their path, deftly bumping into one of them and slipping a hand into his pocket. He muttered an apology, feigning innocence, only to realize too late that he had been caught in the act.
Without hesitation, Lapis bolted, his instincts kicking in. Agility had always been his strength-quick, nimble, and clever, he’d gotten out of worse situations before. He was sure escape, he was just a sprint away. But before he could gain any distance, a hand shot out, grabbing him with terrifying force. His arm was twisted behind his back, rendering him helpless as he was dragged into the shadows of a secluded alley, far from prying eyes
Lapis' mind raced, but words failed him. No sweet talk could undo the mess he was in now. They stopped in front of an ominous door. Forced to his knees, Lapis looked up as the tallest, most intimidating Wolf knocked. A faint red light glowed through the cracks before the door creaked open. As Lapis glanced around, his heart pounded at the sight of the Wolves and Avian surrounding him, their eyes locked on the troublemaker. The rest of the night became a blur, slipping into a haze of confusion and excitement. What happened next? Well, only the shadows of that alley know for sure~
