A culmination of a huge number of influences brought to life by none other than
Kaji. The creation of the piece is a cumulative effort of multiple characters across dozens of years of story telling and creative imagination. The idea was to create a piece that told the story of their stories, combined into a single microcosm. How their stories interrelate, the dramas played out there-in, an epic saga in its scale. Or something like that.
There was, as ever, a great amount of inspiration from creative geniuses like Marc Silvestri, David Wohl, Michael Turner, Marko Djurdjevic and of course, Kaji.
Each of these character, not all of which are mine, have been carefully constructed and given a definition of life by their particular writers over who knows how long. But in this, they all come together and become that much more real as their stories though many, become an aggregate work that creates something greater than the whole of its parts.
It feels as though there is an epic simply waiting to be told, the barest hints of it expressed by the multifaceted aspects of the piece as it comes together. Something to watch for in theaters, perhaps.
This is it. The epic finale. And Kaji went above and beyond on this one! I am in total shock and awe. Enjoy it in all its awesome.

Ah! No way! That's awesome! I would LOVE to get a big print on metal and frame it! I wonder if he'll do more... I'll have to ask! That's awesome. I'd love to come out there one of these days and meet y'all!
I hope you enjoy it! Great honor that you got one of those. Hope you're well!

I feel honored to have you hanging around in my room ;D (kind of). Would be great to see meet you at EF or maybe ScotiaCon next year. Don't have the money for US cons sadly >_<
I'm quite sure he would make such a print for you when ask for it. I mean you commissioned the original ;3
I'm doing well, despite PCD and hope you're doing well, too.

This does look like an endless battle, good VS. evil never truly ends and this heaven and hell looking scene does suggest that. I find that the look of the furthest most character with the tattoo on his chest how be it Chinese looking also kind of reminds me of the Darma Initiative insignia from the LOST series; same also goes for that time piece hyper-cube looking thing. I also have to say on a grand scale of the varied emotions are very diverse from: sorrow ,to war and hate, to to love and prophecy, & more or less good vs evil, this is very well done.
Thank you for that wonderful compliment. I put a lot of thought and imagination into the pieces I get to work with artists on. I am quite lucky to get to work with so many peerless artists.
I absolutely love this piece. Kaji really knows how to bring out the epic in anything. So this is like epic^2.
Thanks again!
