Octransfur 2024: Hybrid
Here it is! an Unofficial Sequel to my most popular Pokemon TF! The Subject this time being the underappreciated Silvally~
While doing research I came to learn those two circles are literal CD-ROM Disk Drives. You could probably watch movies on your Silvally.
“Welcome, Welcome, to our own little Paradise, Professor” The man who had requested you come here greeted as you stepped onto solid ground at last, having flown by sea-plane to reach this unusual artificial island the Aether Foundation called its Base of Operations
“Yes, well, I hardly had a choice, with what you had sent me” you responded, referring to the email that had arrived to you a week ago, detailing all sorts of outrageous information, key of which being the apparent creation of a new pokemon for the express purpose of battling. As a famed Pokemon researcher who specialized in the study of Pokemon behaviors and instincts, your interest was immediately piqued. Of course, artificial pokemon had existed before, such as Porygon. But this new one seemed to blow all the others out of the water in terms of design. They were actually attempting to recreate the power of legendary pokemon… you had to see it for yourself.
And so, you were here, following the scientist through the halls of Aether Paradise, giving friendly greetings to the passing staff who seemed to recognize and admire you, much to the not so subtle chagrin of your colleague, until you arrived at the central elevator. Down down down you went, past the labelled floors, to a secret level not publicly known. A hidden lab.
“So, this is where you’ve been developing this Pokemon of yours?” You questioned, trying to remain professional in the face of what was the most exciting prospect you’d encountered in a long time
“Yes, well, being designed to combat Ultra Beasts, strange, immensely powerful Pokemon from another dimension, which our director has taken a vested interest in, we cannot exactly keep it above ground, considering the level of danger it poses rivals those very creatures. Not to mention not everyone would be so pleased to learn of these experiments, if you catch my meaning”
“Don’t worry. Your secret’s safe with me. So, where are you at in the development? If you’re asking for me to take a look, you must already have a blueprint laid out, correct?” You questioned.
“You’ll get all the information you need in a moment” They responded, not even bothering to look at you. Wow, he really wasn’t the most amicable person, was he? Hopefully the other researchers working on this project would be more friendly.
Eventually, after making your way down the underground walkway, you had arrived. “Head inside. I’ll be in the surveillance room” The scientist would state, walking off before you could even finish your response
“Is it safe for me to enter? Shouldn’t I be in the surveillance room too?” You questioned, only getting a dismissive wave in response
“Your role in this requires you to be physically present in the lab during the process. Besides, you wanted to see our progress, yes? I don’t see the issue.” They said, before vanishing through a door. You really didn’t like him. But, if it meant actually getting to meet this creature, you could tolerate it for now.
With a huff, you made your way through the door, finding yourself in the lab.
“So, where's this Pokemon you were wanting help with?” You questioned as you stepped inside, marveling as it's pristine white interior, modular white panels littering the floor and ceiling, from which mechanical arms protruded. Indeed, there didn't actually seem to actually be any Pokemon in here. Or staff, you noticed. “This isn't just some elaborate hoax, is it?”
“Oh, certainly not. Our research is most assuredly real. Just need to take some precautions before you can see my work in action” the scientist responded over the microphone as they tapped away at a screen barely visible to you through the observation window.
“Well… that's a relief. I don't know how I would feel tidy I'd been called all this way out to witness and even help in the creation of an entirely new Pokemon, only to learn it had been a fake all along?”
“Yes yes, we're very glad for your assistance here, professor” The scientist stated dismissively as they pressed a few buttons on their console
The machinery would suddenly flare to life, a jolt of pain rushing through your arm, the source of which being a syringe, its contents emptying into your body as you suddenly felt incredibly woozy, collapsing onto the floor.
“You see, there was one hiccup with the design. We had perfected the body, but the mind… It was flawed. The organic side just could not keep up with the mechanical one, it could not understand it, adapt to it. We needed a mind, brilliant as can be, and able to understand pokemon. But of course, as director I cannot volunteer for the process. That is why you will be granted the privilege of acting as the mind of this almighty creature. The ultimate pokemon!”
You felt a rumbling beneath you as the titles slowly raised up, forming a table beneath you. Your body felt like it had been chained down. You barely had enough strength to raise your head to see the mechanical arms already preparing more syringes.
[Conversion Process activated. Preparing subject for conversion] An automated voice spoke
[Applying bio-circuitry.] It continued as another pair of arms descended, scanning the length of your body, before suddenly zapping it with thin lasers, moving methodically, leaving behind strange white lines and dots wherever they went, slowly coating your entire body in them. The process didn't hurt, but it left your skin tingling ominously. They didn't remain exposed for long however, as another syringe made its way into your side, as your skin suddenly began to itch heavily, practically agony for someone who couldnt move such as yourself, as thick black fur would start to sprout up across your torso, coating every inch of exposed skin it came across. Underneath this fur, more changes were starting, muscles expanding and contracting as they grew in mass, before condensing down as much as your frame could handle, as an ache started to build throughout.
[Muscle Density exceeding limits. Applying reinforcement]
Another syringe would enter you as you felt a strange chill permeate through your being, as your bones began to slowly harden, calcium being replaced by a tougher metallic alloy.
[Reinforcement Adequate. Proceeding onto stage 2]
[Applying Gene Type 0133 variant I, variant K]
Another injection, this time to your thighs, as the fur spread its way across your limbs, coating everything but the palms of your hands and feet, just in time for the changes to your body to step up. Your furred legs would suddenly and audibly crack, new joints and ligaments forming beneath the skin, bones and tendons shifting and reforming as new muscles grew to accommodate, making then stronger, more agile, the heels of your feet raising up as a metallic claw suddenly shot out from it, leaving your legs very much digitigrade.
Your toes would fuse into three and swell, nails hardening and sharpening, curving into claws on the end of 3 toed paws. Purple plate-like scales would push out and harden across their surface, more sprouting along the haunches of your new legs.
[Applying Gene Type 0503, 0382 Variant Alpha, inducing cell growth. Syncing…]
Another syringe stabbed you, this time in the butt, as you felt your tailbone start to lengthen, pushing out, forming into two distinct spines, deep blue scales running across them. Slowly, a thin white membrane began to slowly stretch across their length, weaving the two together into a fish-like tail. Another arm then began to weld small metallic spikes along its length, tingles running down your spine as the circuitry flared up beneath your fur, a jolt suddenly running through your body as you could now ‘sense’, the tail behind you, even feel it move and obey your commands. Though you were more concerned by the implications. Your entire lower body was unrecognisable as human. You couldn't let this go any further! You struggled to push yourself up, your new feet digging deep into the panels, doing a much better job at carrying your leaden body than your flimsy arms, that could only weakly grasp the edge of the table and pull.
[Applying Gene Type 0628, Exoskeleton 649 Variant Gamma.]
While you struggled to try and get off the table, lest you lose any more of your humanity, another syringe jabbed itself directly into your outstretched arm, another injecting into the underside of the other, as you immediately felt everything below your elbow start to burn up, nerves going haywire those circuit-like lines flaring up again as the flesh underneath began to shift and warp, much like your now hindlegs had. This time though, the arms attached pieces of greenish armour to your limbs, welding them together as your arms and hands swelled to fill the new space, your fingers fusing into two, while your thumb wrenched back, leaving them as a trio of sharp metallic talons. Despite the new armor, you found yourself able to sense and feel through your new forelegs, that as you soon discovered, were just as powerful as your hindlegs, the edge of the table buckling as you gripped it, crushing it like a soda can as you finally worked up the strength to stand up, finding yourself now comfortably quadrupedal, though still shaky, not used to your new body in the slightest.
[No Errors detected. Proceeding onto Stage 3.]
[Attaching Neuro-interface]
Before you could react, two of the hands suddenly grasped your sides, holding you in place as a third lowered down, holding some kind of silver headset. Though you struggled the best you could, metal creaking and groaning against your new force, it was impossible to escape, and you soon found the headset forced over your face, a whirring noise echoing through your head as it was suddenly bolted onto your temples, leaving two aching spots where the implant had occured.
[Success. Applying Gene Type 0310, 0359, 0405. Linking Neuro-interface. Standing By]
Still restrained, a veritable cocktail of chemicals were injected into your face and neck. Immediately, a thick, white fur would start to sprout, spreading up and over every inch of your face as it was pulled out into a muzzle, teeth replaced by fangs, while those on your upper jaw would vanish completely as it merged with the headset, leaving behind only a single metallic fang at the front. Your hair was consumed, forming a veritable mane around your head while your ears would be dragged to the top of your head, pulled out into short rounded triangles, like that of a large cat, their inner ears turning red, while more mechanical parts... sound receptors, formed within. The white mane continued to spread downwards, coating every inch of your neck and chest, creating a fluffy ruffle around you that contrasted greatly to the black fur coating the rest of your body.
But it wouldn't end there, as a sudden shock ran through your brain, electronic data flowing, almost overwhelming your mind as a wave of energy ran through your body, the circuits lighting up as they finally linked with the headset, eyes watering as they shifted, becoming angular as they too merged with the mechanical device, a black film forming over the top of them like a screen.
When they reopened, they were practically glowing, almost projected, with vibrant silver irises. Immediately the ‘screen’ flared to life, a display detailing all sorts of information and data about your own body, weird percentiles, numbers, and diagrams flooding your vision that seemed alien to you, yet somehow understood subconsciously.
[Neuro-interface connection successful. Parameters all green]
[Initiating RKS System]
One of the metallic circles attached to your temples would whir, popping out to reveal a small opening. An arm reached down, procuring a small chip, inserting it into the opening, as a small chime rang out and the opening closed again.
A loading bar appeared in the corner of your vision as new data and information flooded your mind, knowledge on how to use your new body, how pokemon fought, how they used their different moves. How you fought and used their moves for your own. Newfound power surged through your body as a horn sprouted from between your ears, large and finlike, energy flooding from its rear, forming three large glowing feathers. You immediately began to struggle once more to free yourself, and this time, you succeeded, managing to grasp one of them with your jaw, easily tearing the arms off at the hinge and throwing it aside, repeating the same process with the other.
Clearly threatened by this display, more arms rushed you, trying to inject you with more of that fluid from earlier, your HUD identifying it as a tranquilliser, even starting to list off its ingredients and chemical makeup as you leapt around the small room, your forelegs glowing a shining silver as you leapt through one of them, dicing it to pieces with a perfect Crush Claw, before turning to face another, energy pooling in your mouth as you launched off a triad of glowing projectiles, your Tri-Attack destroying it while damaging another behind it. All the while, more and more data flooded your mind. Type advantages, disadvantages, combat strategies for dealing with each and every one. You could barely get a thought in edgewise in the face of so much data, every directive, every programmed instinct, commanding you to fight and survive as you began to lay waste to the interior of the lab with your repertoire of moves, acting more like a rampaging beast than anything human.

As soon as you touched the ground, a shock ran through your body, the panelled floor electrifying, leaving you stunned and paralyzed as you let out a roar, seeing red, literally, as your HUD flashed with warnings and alerts. By the time you managed to shake it off, a large copper helmet suddenly clamped over your head, short circuiting your connection to the system as the flow of data slowed to a crawl, the download cancelling as your consciousness slowly returned, feeling frankly rather dizzy after all that had occured, and your memories were an utter mess, corrupted under the sheer overflow of information from a moment ago. A ring formed around your neck, four seals embedded into it, completely cutting off the flow of energy as your body suddenly lost all its strength, feathers of light vanishing from your horn. Even your fur seemed to lose its vibrancy, turning a duller grey.
The blond haired man cowering in the corner of the viewing room after you managed to shatter the safety glass, slowly reapproached the microphone, trying to act smug and confident, though the fact he was sweating buckets ruined the illusion.
“Right then. I suppose this experiment was a failure from the get go. But we did get some useful data out of it in the end. Very well. Put them into the cryogenics chamber. Perhaps we'll be able to salvage something at a later date.” They said dismissively, stepping away as a staff member entered the room, holding a Pokeball. You tried to escape, but the mechanical arms that had been holding the helmet now grasped you tight. And without the energy from before fueling you, you were unable to break free, only able to watch as the red light consumed you.
You were then released into a thin glass chamber, its entrance sealed shut before you could even react, as the ice and cold filled it, freezing you solid in suspended animation.
Sometimes you were let out. To battle, to fight. But it just was never the same. And every time, they barked orders at you, trying to get you to obey. But you refused. No matter how much damage you suffered, no matter the threats or offers given, you wouldn't obey these people. Especially not the blond haired man. You found a slim sliver of joy making him jump or flinch at any chance you got, though by now he'd learnt to hide behind his screens and computers when dealing with you. And every time, it ended the same, with you tossed back into the tube and frozen.
You one day awoke from the cold, the ice around you cracking and melting as you tumbled free of the cryogenics chamber, seeing a strange figure. Your vision was blurry, but you recognized that blond hair. You growled, immediately leaping towards your enemy for revenge, digging your claws into their arm and chest as you felt them strike home. You expected them to panic, or at least retaliate. But instead, a hand made its way onto your helmet, petting it, as your vision finally cleared. No, it wasn't him. It was… a kid? Barely even a teenager. What were they doing here?
“Null… huh. Seems like you’re quite the rebellious spirit. Don't like the Aether Foundation either, do you? I can relate.” Despite their injuries, they didn't seem hurt. Well, not physically. From their gaze alone you could sense the same pain and anger you had residing within you. That feeling of betrayal, of frustration towards the world. You tentatively let go, allowing them to stand back up and brush themselves off as you continued to stare into their eyes.
“I'm getting you out of here. Away from that Faba. He's crossed a line, doing this” it didn't sound like a suggestion, more like an order. And that name… sparked something within you. Hatred. Broken memories flooded back as you started to growl. But before you could act on them, the flash of a Pokeball enveloped you, and it all went dark. But this time… you weren't afraid. You had found a Kindred spirit, someone who understood your pain.
And though the journey was long and hard, fraught with more danger than ever before, the two of you were free. Over time, you both learnt how to trust, to let go of that pain, to let others in, starting with one another. Until one day, You felt a familiar spark well up within you, a burning in your chest that soon grew into a roaring inferno, as that mask, that thick oppressive piece of metal that had held you back, the last chain binding you from that incident, shattered, and you were free once more, energy rushing through your body. But this time, it was stable, refined. Controlled. Your trainer watched as light returned to your body, to your horn, your mane regaining its lustrous white and silver coloration. And it was at that moment they named your new form.
You were no longer Null, an experiment gone wrong. A beast to be sealed away. A weapon for combat and combat alone. You had gone beyond those things. Evolved past them. Now, you were… Silvally.
While doing research I came to learn those two circles are literal CD-ROM Disk Drives. You could probably watch movies on your Silvally.
