
Another look at Cort, this time with his head attached with the collar! I didn't feel like shading this piece, so I'm posting it as is! Now, for some more details on his condition:
Though he sees many positives to having his head permanently detached, there are negatives. He always needs to wear the collar in public now, which can get irritating at times. Contact between the two neck parts can get sweaty and itchy by the end of the day, meaning these parts require extra attention when he bathes. He could get the sweat glands removed if he really wanted to, but such an operation would be expensive. He's also more likely to lose his head while swimming, which could be a drowning hazard, so he has even had a specially designed variant for water with a safety necklace if he knows he'll be in rougher water.
Of course, it's only permanent so long as he doesn't have Riley reverse the process, but Cort doesn't seem to be planning that any time soon!
