I really like these pieces a lot.
They are very inspiring to me. I love the monochromatic style you have going with these and the composition of them.

The brush strokes on the bottom left look like pawprints in the size of their hands.. The dripping upwards of the layering is complimentary to the message suggested by their connected arms.. This is a really nice piece. Thank you for sharing.

This is why I really like ink. There are things that happen with it that I don't even notice! Thanks for pointing it out. :D

That's lovely, did you use masking fluids for the characters? Or brushed on the ink above the characters and then tilted the paper?

I haven't tried masking fluid yet, though could probably benefit from figuring that out. Right now I'm just inking around them and doing my best to try and make it look like right. I do some paper tilting too, mostly when I need a subtle gradient over a larger area (usually happens in early stages). My process isn't terribly refined. I think I'm doing some things that I did yeeeaaaaars ago when I worked with watercolor a lot.

Replied to Thaily's question above in a bit more detail, but no, no masking or lifts. I've just been working around the white areas and hoping I don't botch it. :)

<3 this. I wish I could say something profound and deep about this, but I tend to like pictures by feelings. And I always love the mix of organic (ink splotches, spills etc) and the beautiful, smooth, sleekness of your anthros
