If I'm missing any extra info about what's recently happened on this please let me know in the comments.
I'm gonna keep this as brief as possible, well try to. First, I hate leaks. I hate relying on or looking at information that's unconfirmed after usually content creators bring them up. I understand most people like leaks and use them to determine what to do with something upcoming, but in the end they're still leaks, aka not fully accurate information. The Gamefreak leaks were difficult to ignore since the internet plastered them all over the place. Social media sites, art sites, Youtube vids, etc.
Recently there were leaks by someone (probably a Gamefreak dev member or another leaker) who leaked a huge majority of Gamefreak's database right into all corners of this god forsaken source of public availability called the internet. Some of these leaks contain unreleased Pokemon that were scrapped, some contain Pokemon hentai stories based off of lore, some contain info on the Switch 2, the new Pokemon game coming out next year and most importantly private information towards actual people that work at GF. Compromised information in the hands of the more corrupt and foolish side of the web is not a good thing to ever see happen as they can screw you in more ways than one if they have full access to everything about you. Nintendo hasn't addressed this as far as I know, but I hope they go after the pathetic leaker that did this. General leaks I understand, but leaks of this scale directly taken from a huge company like Gamefreak crosses the line imo.
Among one of these horny hentai stories involves an Octillery. I won't go into detail about the story, but the leaks are all over the place if you want to look them up yourselves. Just know that these are in fact unconfirmed and untrue stories the dev team made up years ago and they never went with it. It can be fun to mess around and make interesting drawings with them yes, but taking them seriously is mindless despite what any of the Pokemon's actual Pokedex entries say or Gamefreak themselves for that matter
