I didn't actually do all of these tonight, but I figured since I hadn't uploaded most of them, I might as well put them all together!
Starting from the top and moving clockwise:
Halona is a hippo, and one of
rdewalt 's guardian characters. The unofficial leader of them, in fact! She is the Guardian of Force, has rather considerable strength, and is very assertive and businesslike. She is essentially a force to be reckoned with. The next character belongs to
kitskyfire and was one of the only people brave enough to let me mutilate his character on stream tonight! He is a red fox squirrel! The yumar is Eight Lives, aka Lively. A female, as you might be able to tell from the dully colored tail. I'm not sure yet whether she's a cousin or friend, but she was designed to be visually complimentary to Arty. Lively is a tomboy and an adventurer, who dreams of one day having her own ship to captain. Granted, she doesn't have that ship yet because she would probably end up being a pirate, but who knows, maybe she'll surprise everyone. She belongs to a clan of yumars who are still seafarers.
Right underneath Eight Lives is my little nautilus guy, Rupert. First color picture of him as an adult! Well, he's more of a teenager, really. Rupert is a very cheerful, ultra observant fellow who adores mysteries.
Next to Rupert is Grimm, another of
rdewalt's Guardians. Grimm is a panther, and the Guardian of Death. But don't think that makes him some sort of reaper, or a morbid killer. Grimm is actually a very dignified and proper Britishman whose abilities include harnessing spirits and looking a lot scarier than he actually is.Lastly is my favorite of
rdewalt's Guardian characters, the lovable geek bunny Timebase. TB has amnesia after some unknown event and can't remember that he's actually the centuries old Guardian of Time. Needless to say, it's quite a shock!

These look great. although Rupert looks a bit cute for an adult/late adolescent.
Grimm looks pretty good; although, with Englishmen (Englishfurs?), I have trouple reading their expressions properly. One moment they're hiding all the fears and sorrows of the world behind a stiff upper lip, and the next they're giving you a death glare because you brewed the wrong sort of tea for that particular time of day. Go figure.
(I hope I didn't hit a nuclear tripwire with that "cute" remark)
