
So I finally decided to continue my Blender Fox Project as an SL avatar. After a couple of hours in photoshop, and pretty much redoing the entire head, I managed to get a good hand painted texture ontop of the fox head. Some parts still require work on the texturing such as the innear jaw/Mouth and the ears..., and "cover" parts where i've mirrored the texture...
Only if i could simply keep the ears and jaw in the same mesh and animate the mesh using morphs or/and bones instead... sigh... ill have to wait until those are implemented in SL to be able to do that for the avatar.
Meanwhile, I'm waiting to fix an issue with SL Mesh which is causing my client to crash the second i press upload when trying to put this online. Ill find it out eventually..
Practically this is what will be uploaded to second life... I still have to make body texture, but i figured out the best method to do good looking fur :3.
I Might also later on increase the polygon count atleast by a sub surface conversion. Right now the model is a medium detail model, at around 1300 polygons, including everything from eyes to ears, to inner mouth (no teeth / tongue yet)
