Why are you apologising for posting awesome work? It's excellent and a nice change from getting spammed by... well, less than excellent stuff.
The purple and teal work really well together here, I've always thought that was a great colour combination - I particularly like that you've used the glowing teal as an accent here. :D Just brings the whole thing to life.
