Uh-oh. Seems like Dex-Starr of the Red Lantern Corps has gotten his paws on Zatanna's hat. Who knows what kind of mayhem this fiendish feline could unleash with that kind of power?

Not to worry, the hat has a mind of its own, and its not going to yield to just any petty thief, not even a supervillain. As you can see here, the security system produces some... interesting results. Look on the bright side! Red Lanterns are powered by rage, and I have a feeling that Dex is about to be feeling a lot of that soon.



Always been a fan of Dex-Starr's Justice League Action design and this was a good chance to draw it in my style. Went for combining it with a slightly toonier look to anthropomorphicize him a bit more while keeping the original elements in tact.

And even though I was running behind schedule, I couldn't help but color it in because, well he's a Red Lantern. That color's pretty essential to them. Maybe after October I'll go back and color in the rest.
