It's Day 24 of Octransfur 2024, and the theme is Game! #Octransfur
Today is a day where I finally found the motivation to clean up some of my room. I organized a few things, threw out some other things, and decided to dig through my desk drawers to see what could be disposed of. While filing through the drawer contents, I found a loose CD. Taking a closer look... it turned out to be Nanosaur, a late 90's PC game from my childhood!
Man, I remember that game fondly... You play as a small orange dinosaur from a far-flung future of hyperintelligent dinosaurs who outlived humanity. Toting a jetpack and multi-purpose gun, you travel back to 20 minutes before the meteor killed off the dinosaurs, aiming to bring their eggs back to the future to help diversify the dinosaur population. Traversing the low-poly world, picking up shields, double-jumping over lava... Such good memories.
Although... those memories seem to have kicked off a new transformation within me...! My chest pounds briefly but forcefully, sending the CD down to the floor as my fingers start shifting. Claws poke out from their tips as they start turning orange and scaly. I also feel my feet start growing, bulging outward gradually and tugging at the ends of my socks...
