Nice to see this one finished. It does look a little different from your usual stuff. Bit darker, bit more desaturated and ominous. Though that could simply be the mood you wanted to go for. Fits the spooky month nicely.

We normally don’t see Ali injured. It’s sad to see her like this. She looks defeated, in more ways than one. From what I can tell, she failed to save most of the ship’s crew. There appears to be only four survivors from the ship, who are currently between Ali’s paws. She wasn’t only defeat physically, but mentally too. I imagine the regret she feels just from looking at her expression. It’s like she is constantly asking herself if she got there just a few minutes sooner how many lives could she have prevented from being lost from this attack. Something tells me a second fight is brewing. Let’s hope Ali initiates vengeance strike and wins next time.

she totally is defeated, poor thing... she does have a heart. I am looking forward in discovering more of that side of her.
