Yes, I probably should have been trying harder to sell stuff at the MCM... but I'm a great believer in letting people browse in peace. And also that meant I had time to get some serious drawing done :D This chap here's done in pen, then shaded with one of those chinese ink sticks via a brush pen filled with water. Then coloured in Photoshop... I could probably spend a lot longer on him but I kinda like where he's at now. Background texture's something I cobbled together in Photoshop for a different project, but thought I'd use it here anyway. Anyway, I added it to the 'traditional' rather than 'digital' category 'cos most of the work here was done via traditional media.
Note: carbonated water does not work well with these, as i found out when the water ran out and I tried to be clever and fill it up with what I had to hand.

You should get this printed up as a wall scroll, as in mass printed. You would sell this guy all over the place, in and out of furry circuits. Perhaps even better out of.
The wall scroll thought has nothing to do with it being eastern in type or style, it's just that sort of thing that looks good that way, and wall scrolls are better than posters anyway.
... Not sure who you would go to to get that produced, but, there you go

Well, I know that most of the ones we have here are actually printed in Japan and imported, so, possibly looking at some Japanese printing services might be the thing to do. Your biggest problem there would be import costs rather than language barrier, because a lot of Japanese services have an english/engrish translated version of their page, and often english speaking sales reps.
The other alternative, it occurs to me, would be to go to a banner printing service local to you and have them print up a hanging banner with decent margins on the top and bottom. Then get a couple of wood or aluminum pipe dowels, paint them, and make your own.
Even for a one off to keep or take with you, it would be full of win
