Still kind of a short chapter and I probably would change some things.

A) "It's ok we like our new look"?????? If he was or is a furry fan I would understand that but just speaking for his friends? They should get a word in as well, like even if it is just a few words.

B) Just voluntarily going along with this WAR!!! there should be some sort of argument or something.

C) Instantly being trusted by top secret military with high magical and high tech weaponry without any training??? I don't mean to be rude with any of this but it is not practical.

Also the audience doesn't know the characters, you just assume that everybody already knows the characters. You should create Bios for the characters (maybe even request drawings from friends) so that the audience could understand the characters actions a bit more.
