Releasing the Gentle Beast
Arbor the knight believes that a witch put a curse on him and heads to her cabin in the middle of the night to kill her. Once he finally gets there, however, he is weary and emotionally defeated, and no longer wishes to kill her. Instead, he tiredly begs the witch to lift his curse, to which the witch replies that there was never a curse, and that after he got a spell casted upon him, his own anger made it hostile. The witch then helps alleviate his pain, anyway, and this calm releases the spell which turns him into a bear.

This is my story for Octransfur day 17, “Curse” and Oh BOY did it take me WAY longer than I wanted it to. This was meant to be a SHORT story but now it is the longest one I’ve written so far.
I’ll be honest: this transformation is my favorite type of transformation, one where the target of the TF is something that represents themself, and by transforming: they feel more in tune with themself and feel better overall. It’s a nice and wholesome vibe I don’t feel is caught in TF stories and art enough.
Also I included a ton of hypnosis and mind games at the end, partially for my own amusement.
