The terrors of carrying a rifle in the African colonies were greatly understated!
On this one, I experimented with less is more, line weight, and some light cross hatching. The first involves implying texture on the were creature's face instead of drawing each hair. The second around the hand, so that it doesn't blend into the creature's chest, and the third in the human's face to shade without sketchy strokes (like I did around the sides of the nose).
Still got a ways to go.
