I've been invited to collaborate on a monster adoptable project with a group of Thai artists, and our theme is 'phobias'. My assigned subject is coulrophobia, or the fear of clowns. I'm honored to be a part of this creative challenge! I just really love jesters and clowns... they are so cool! Who wouldn't love them?

As I work on this project, I have two main goals in mind. First, I don't want the final artwork to be excessively gore and gruesome. Instead, I want to focus on my skills in coloring and painting while working on this piece.

The snake-like appearance of the CoulroDragon is intended to reflect the feeling of uncertainty and unease that can be associated with clowns. The combination of their colorful and unsettling appearance, coupled with the hidden identity behind their masks, creates a feeling of fear and disturbance. As an artist, I had the option to choose between a chonky or more lean design for the character, but ultimately, I chose to create a snake-like form to visually represent these unsettling qualities yet he's likable. A fun guy where you would like to play with him and trust him however his smiles and those shadow energy that emitting out could be meaning the end of you.

He has the design of doll, zipper combining. With the zipper open for you to see his shadow power. This character looks so much fun with color. I did not using my normal method of lining. This one mostly using block of color and then put the line afterward.
