As promised, the next vixen art is finished and based off the SoyuzMultFilm cartoon "Miss novvy god" which aired in 1991 during the last days of the USSR. As perestroika and glasnost rumbled through Soviet Russia, it brought about a wave of experimentalism, new ideas, and a liberalization of topics that would unknowingly give rise to so many furries today. How could you watch this cartoon and not become UwU?



This episode special was set during "The Russian New Year" which is their Christmas. Based on the old, Slavic, Orthodox Christian calendar, Russia celebrates Christmas not on Dec 25th but Jan 7th. The customs are the same as a classic, atheist, American Christmas.



This year, the animals in the forest held a beauty pageant/ dance competition and the winner would be crowned Miss New Year. An elegant, soft spoken, and modest vixen would enter the competition excited to try out an act she came up with that she felt would for sure knock the audience back in awe. She practiced so hard only to be shocked to not win due to some shenanigans with another competitor. I won't spoil the whole episode so just watch it by searching "Miss New Year 1991" or "Miss Novvy God" or it in Cyrillic if you can type it.



It really sucks this vixen didn't have more lines. She was totally the star of the show and the main reason I watch it.
