The unselfish dude that puts the needs of his friends and people before his own, every time?
Yeah, that's def. Poak. The one Yinglet ace, and a foundation pillar of his people that may just help save the world.
Can't you see him marrying someone like Lippie and Vizlet herself herself blessing their bond?
I can.

I don't think they have the sort of religious, formal marriage ceremonies that we do. They're a VERY young sophont race. And earlier Valsalia did have a discussion about yinglet sexuality, including that many of them were poly as heck. But Poak? If anyone would pick a single mate, and have a simple bonding ceremony overseen by Vizlet, it would be him. That would also make an absolutely adorable picture.
I'm not a big shipper fan but I could see him doing that with Lippie. He's a rock. She needs a rock. That might be enough for a sweetheart like Poak.

It absolutely was. Poak is one of those gentle, patient souls that supports everyone and everyone takes for granted... but who might just end up helping to save the world.
He's Samwise Gamgee in yinglet form. Thank you
delfi, he hit that one out of the park.

I absolutely love this page; Lippie's hyper-active imagination and vulnerability coupled with the empathy of Poak is just such a winning combination. This is also really good 'show, don't tell' storytelling, as we see exactly why the big chap earned his place as a Patriach. The misdirection in Panel 4 is, of course, superb!
Yello, OOPs folk! I'm here to remind you yet again that there's a place called "Top Web Comics" https://www.topwebcomics.com/?home=3 that compiles comics from various places. There's a bunch of cool stuff there. They have monthly votes, so you can support OOPs there. You can vote once a day per device, so your PC, laptop, tablet, phone, etc.
I've noticed that you can sometimes even get in extra votes from different IP addresses, or if you're disconnected from your IP and open up again later.
It closed out last monthat 1167 votes and 50th place. It's currently at 964 votes and 48th place. The highest it's reached is 36th place, and the top vote getters seem to end up with something close to 20,000 votes.
Vote early, vote often! Help OOPs get noticed!

Poak's unique trait for bigness without any of the associated negative health consequences is certainly a useful one to have. I don't believe we've seen any younger yinglets sharing it yet, so either none of the successive generation received those genes or they are not old enough for it to manifest yet?
