Welcome back to another Gun Day Sunday! Another of my favorite things about guns are when you get invested in a gun and tinker around with it. Thanks to the aftermarket, it is a constant source of entertainment to see two different takes on the same model of gun.
Now, I want to bring about a discussion that may bring about sad vibes, but needs to be discussed. Several times, as I was tinkering away at my guns until I realized that I needed to draw for this week. This made me realize that Gun Day Sunday has become somewhat of a chore for me and it is taking time away from my main hobby. So now for the question that needs discussing: when is a good time for me to end this? Should Gun Day Sunday end? If so, how should I end it? If I was to end the weekly posts, I would still occasionally make doodles to post. Should I just take a break?
I really wish to hear from everyone. Even those that only come by to my posts every once in a while.

As always, thank you for stopping by and checking out Gun Day Sunday! Feel free to leave a comment on what you like (or dislike) about my content.
Have a wonderful day and see you all next week!

While I really enjoy the content(even though I'm not super consistent on commenting), if it's become a chore for you perhaps try reducing it to every two weeks, or perhaps monthly? This should be a fun and rewarding hobby, like tinkering on firearms.
Ironically, I'm posting this while taking a quick break from giving my M1A, MK23, and new USP9 some attention!

You're right. This should be fun and I think that I may have lost sight of why I started doing this. I just wanted to improve on my drawing skills. But perhaps, like working out, breaks would do me some real good if I want to improve.
That MK23 and USP9 must be real beauts!

Sometimes it's best to scale back or step away a bit; it can give you a fresh perspective and new ideas. I know I do that with my writing; sometimes I take more of a break than I'd like, but it sometimes helps!
I have to say that the USP and MK23 are rapidly becoming my favorite pistols. I lucked out with both, though I still have the itch to snag a USP Compact and maybe even an SP5 at some point(though at 1/3 the price the new MAC-5 is tempting). Aaaand, that's the sound of my wallet running away screaming... :P

Well, you can take a break on the series, or just start just uploading whenever.
I'll admit, gunday sunday gives me something to actually look forward through the week, especially when everything else goes wrong, so I'm a tad bias here.
But if you're feeling burnt out, changing how you do things or just ending it all together is probably best. Don't make your art a chore, especially if you're not getting money from it.
So while I really don't want it to end, it really is about your own personal passion and enjoyment on it that should depend on what you do.

Yeah, a part of me feels that uploading less frequently takes away the charm of Gun Day Sunday. But, I have been considering the input that I have been getting today and I believe that I should simply be taking a break sometime. When and for how long? I'm not sure yet.
Why not right away? So have one more next week, say "Hay I'm taking a break on this for X amount of time at least" and then be able to not worry about it. Only doing artwork when you really want to, not even needing to worry about posting.
Seems effective. Just get the stress of it feeling of it being a chore right away.

Creation demands effort, and that takes energy/focus.
If you're creating something because you like to, have at it.
If you come to a point where you're questioning the effort, it's likely time to at least back-off a little. Take a break (Or three!).
Do 'You' and let the chips fall where they may!
I love seeing what folks create, and then learning about the inner Muse(s) that inspired it.
All of it should be from an inner drive, a desire.
Not a chore or duty.
Ya gots lots o' folk who watch and do the same thing with your Art/Back-stories, and I can't imagine anyone of us giving you grief if you make a choice to adjust things that better suit: you.
