The inspiration for this concept is a video on the ERFB artillery shell which mentioned Gerald Bull, project HARP and project Babylon. Space guns proposals are generally fixed in space due to their great size, limiting the range of orbits achievable by their rocket-assisted projectiles. But an artificial mountain based on a hyperboloid structure could allow such a gun to rotate while remaining light enough to build.
