Do I hit you poor fools with a gargantuan amount of lore for this goob...

Well, I'll try to truncate. Got a Mewtwo AU going that's just a whole different take on the boi's life - and that includes four other clones built off his original template (he's not cloned, he was a Mew originally!)

This is one of those four *actual* clones! There's another regional (Galar) variant I need to work on, but this one was from Alola! The result of being taken from a razed lab in the island nation by the very deities that preside over it, adapting to the region and the energies of those involved in his upbringing.

Had to do some major research to make sure I get it right, but he's not an *actual* Tapu, more a pseudo one. Obvs, he wasn't born one after all!

Few things based on the research I absolutely had to do:
1) All the Tapu have animal motifs/mask motifs. His is not so, is less angular and more indicative of man-made structures symbolized into his shells.

2) The Tapu can close their shells to make said animal motifs proper. Being only a Tapu by proxy, he cannot do the same. However, with his regionally-influenced Water Typing, he can generate a water-shawl and water-skirt from them!

3) He is by design a sort-of fifth role. He doesn't preside over an island like the proper Tapu do, but is more an observer and enforcer of the balance between the old, nature-respecting traditions of the land, and the new influences brought on by outer regions post-contact.

4) He is capricious as *fuck*, just like those that raised him. That the Aether Foundation still exists is because he encountered them on a 'good day'.

5) He's the youngest, but thanks to his upbringing and 'role' as a pseudo-Tapu, he is the most learned of the four clones - and even bypasses his father on being up to speed with current events. He also has the same demeanour as Mew prior to Team Rocket's meddling.

Annnnnd that's about the short-hand of it! Looking forward to writing him! ....when I get that far. Lmao.
