Anzig is the Haeraig of one of the greatest dragon clans, but he is also young and uncertain of himself. The dragons are in a perilous situation: the clans refuse to cooperate and unite as humans start claiming territory that has long been owned by the dragons.
Guided by the enigmatic and cowardly seer, Azlak, Anzig is tasked with recovering the Axinstone, a powerful relic that had been stolen by the humans. With the Axinstone, dragons may be able to withstand human expansion.
Anzig has been assured he will be successful, but Azlak's word doesn't always come true...
