Gotta say, I like that you decided to have this year's series in this choice of color. Not only does it help stand apart from the previous years but it's easy eyes.
In addition it does a good job expressing the cool spooky vibe by allowing a good use of shadow from the light effects the witch's magic creates further enhancing the transformation theme.

I've seen this sort of shading in other artists' works for some time now and have always liked it, so what better occasion to try it than TF Week? I am not really happy with my current lighting/coloring skills, so I should definitely practice more, but I'm glad you like how it turned out!
