Peameal and Tyrex made a good career as prospectors. The pair would salvage Old-World tech from ancient ruins and sell off components to scientists back in California. But the last vault they went into exposed the dragons to a compound that had turned them into a couple of bottomless stomachs on legs. All food and food adjacent material, it seemed, was absolutely delicious, completely irresistible, and instantly converted to pudge.
Pea eventually found that there might be a way to counteract the effects in the long-abandoned Vault 45. Arriving at the entrance, the gator-derg did his best with the door controls; his pudgy fingers made it difficult to work with finesse.
If Tyrex and Pea didn't find a cure here, there was a good chance they'd be too fat to leave ...
