My first car - 2009 Buick Lucerne - front view
This is the front 3/4 view of my first car, a 2009 Buick Lucerne, and I love her to death. I bought her off my mom's friend's family, as she belonged to said friend's late grandfather, and this was part of selling off his estate. Unfortunately, I never got to meet the old man, which is a shame, I bet we would've gotten along great, but at least I have his old car to love and cherish. She's been a great car so far, very comfortable, very smooth, and easy to drive, though her handling, fuel economy, and turning radius leave a bit to be desired. Under the hood she has a GM 3.9-liter "High Value" V6 pushing 227 horsepower and 237 pound-feet of torque, which is coupled to a 4-speed slushbox automatic transaxle driving the front wheels. She's got enough power to get going pretty good, and can do 70 mph on the highway at under 2,000 rpm. She's also very quiet on the inside, floats over bumps, and has plenty of room inside, plus 17 cubic feet of trunk. She also has a full leather interior, dual-zone climate control, heated 8-way power adjustable front seats, she even has a heated steering wheel. She's painted Gold Mist Metallic, but most people here call that sort of paint "old man/woman/person gold", as it's bought almost exclusively by old people. I also don't know why it took me so long to post pics of her, I got her back in June, so that's on me
