I do believe a polearm axe is a halberd http://images.google.com/images?q=h.....amp;oi=imagest
I'ts similar to this one http://www.imperialweapons.com/pole.....s/1076-gtc.JPG but I refrain from calling it a halberd because it's definitely not like this one http://www.clevelandart.org/Kids/ar.....es/halberd.jpg which is the traditional-looking halberd.
