I'm quite proud of how this came out; digital painting has become fun for me to do in a lot of ways, especially for experimenting with detail, shading, and color, and I wanted to do at least one of the covers myself. x3 The only idea I had for it was to just somehow feature a certain new character from this volume (only my beta readers know who it is ;) ), and I brainstormed a lot of scenarios (I like to just visualize scenes from the story itself for a potential cover) before just focusing on one that was simple, but hopefully eye-catching.
