Transliterated Anniversary One-Shot: Hidden Heights
Got something special for you all today! I wrote this one-shot story months ago and posted it on Cohost, but with that site now defunct, I would like to give it somewhere else to live. As for the odd time of posting, well, I'm publishing this exactly one year from when I posted the first chapter of Transliterated! It doesn't connect directly to the main events of the book outside of alluding to them, so you can skip it if you'd like, but I've been wracking my brain with a way to commemorate the anniversary of me becoming a proper author, and this is the best I could come up with. I really love seeing an aquatic setting included in the series, even if it's just for a short story. I never really thought that xenofiction about aquatic species could be interesting and never bothered to look into it, but this might have changed my mind a bit.
