i give up for tonight.
This inking is from a sketch book from the late '80s - but had some oopses i fixed back in '14, and even then only partially inked the strange city ... another four or five hours tonight and the #%#!$@*!!!ing gdang city is still not finished ! WTF !!! What is so damn complicated about this ??? ... pooie ...
This was supposed to be tonight's Inktober pic . i hope i get that simple little distant city finished tomorrow and will replace this dang WIP of countless ovals and funny towers. And finish inking the horse's mane. Freaking hours over years on the tiddly bits when the main drawing was done in the late '80s !!!

I initially misread "tiddly bits" as something else, and you can probably guess what :p That's some good-looking inking on the 80's section of the picture! And the fantastical background city is looking nice so far too, but please don't stress out so much about finishing it, after all you're under no deadline (except perhaps a self-imposed one, but you can always un-impose it!)
Lotsa people do pencil pics and various mono-chrome and duo-chrome media for Inktober,
Some folks do coloured inkings ... at least one person i saw did full colour digital paintings for each day. So i think you're pretty safe doing pencil pictures, or whatever. i posted 17 pencil pictures this year and i'm feeling fairly guilt free about that. .... Unless the Inktober Inquisition hears about it ...i hear they use ink-erasers on those they condemn ...
