this seems to be based on my favorite front yard inflatable ever made. as a kid, around halloween, if i saw one of these in the car i would imagine that my car turned into a somehow mobile version of these that played a song in meow notes like a kid’s paino, barreling down the street as a massive street. i was really into petz 5 at the time so i would blissfully imagine the inside of the pumpkin magically appearing in that faux-3d 2d style, with prerendered .bmp “playscenes” as the scripted environment backdrop. well that’s the memory this sequence conjured for me
