A belated birthday gift for my brother, 
marcushunter. He asked for a paw related picture of his bear, Shasta. I wanted to go for a more candid paw themed picture instead of one where she's looking at the viewer. Here she's looking at a grasshopper that she's taken an interest in. I wanted to go for a sort of "in the middle of rolling over to investigate" type of image to convey her curious nature.
In other news, this is the first time I've drawn a bug with this level of detail. I think it came out pretty well.
