Being the manifestation of uninhibited id, as well as Jouissance, the Beast is the driving force behind any uprising or revolution. When the desires and rage of the people overpower their self-preservation instinct, the Beast revels and ravages through the world in a storm of apocalyptic ecstasy as things such as the state, borders and laws all become meaningless and the people rejoice in this wild expression of total anarchy. The Beast is thus known as the destroyer of civilizations and the patron of barbarians by the kings and law makers, while simultaneously being praised as the very essence of liberation by those who found themselves facing oppression by the said rulers. That being said, few kings know of the Beast for long, for once it announces its presence openly, they usually don't have much time left in this world.

Ah, I see. The first thing I found about it was Aristotle's idea of living well.
Speaking of happiness, that concept of Jouissance I mentioned in the description is something like an enjoyment or pleasure but it's hard to translate precisely. I am specifically interested in its use in philosophy - it is the transgression of subject's regulation of pleasure, when one is simultaneously compelled to experience pleasure that is forbidden, but also move beyond the pleasure principle - to no longer be swayed by the promise of pleasure and to no longer fear the threat of pain and death. It is a sort of momentous but total freedom when inhibitions on one's behavior are shattered.

The neat part about the beast is that it is a part of every person and every living thing. The concepts it represents exist in the modern psychological theory. Though the Beast is a rather dangerous thing because it also represents the Shadow - the repressed id which encompasses things that are not only rejected by the ego, but also can indeed be harmful. This is something I struggle with daily. It helps to understand, however, that when the Beast "lashes out" and threatens one's moral integrity and sense of self, it is most definitely a reaction to trauma and the pain one already experiences on a subconscious level. It is kinda like a dog that has been beaten so often that now it bites people.
Lol, sorry, might have went too deep into allegories.
