As mentioned in one of my previous drawings, one artist that particularly piqued Chanticleer's interest when he was listening to music from the future was Rick Astley, since Rick's songs fit Chanticleer's vocal range perfectly. In fact, Chanticleer "borrowed" three of Rick's hits while performing as Aaron "The King" Prescott: "Never Gonna Give You Up", "Whenever You Need Somebody", and "Together Forever".

Here we see "Aaron" performing Rick's hit "Whenever You Need Somebody" to an adoring crowd of teenage girls. Funnily enough, Chanticleer is retroactively covering Rick's 1987 version of the song, when Rick himself released it as a cover of the initial 1985 version sung by O'chi Brown.
