I’ve never seen Doraemon’s unofficial/bootleg dubs done by Speedy Video, though I was into seeing the covers which were released on VCD and DVD, as well as Nobita usually having the wrong colors as well as Doraemon not having as much detail. This is based off the DVD version, which had a much more colorful background, though not really as interesting as the VCD background in my opinion. I didn’t bother drawing Shizuka for this redraw since I mainly like drawing just 2 characters in my art to save time, and I haven’t drawn Shizuka in my style yet which is another reason why I didn’t bother on this one as well. And yeah, despite me barely watching the English Doraemon dubs (mainly the Doraemon 2005 English dub which aired on Disney XD in the 2010s), perhaps I might try watching the ones done by Speedy Video at some point.
