... You know, military people tell me they're always extremely busy, working 12-14 hour days when on duty, etc and then I see shit like this and wonder if they're just lying through their teeth to make themselves look good.

Nah we really do work 12 to 14 hour days, this particular day we were waiting for a awards ceremony that was cancelled...but command failed to notify us of that change.
