She can't wear latex all the time unfortunately! When she's in her band she does have to dress the part and that's why she wears shiny stuff some of the time. It's actually a little bit uncomfortable though so the rest of the time she dresses as a normal college student. It's like she has a secret identity.
If you're curious about her whole look you should google 'festival fashion' or 'festival chic' as that's exactly what she's wearing. It's a total mix of casual and hippie styles that people wear to music festivals. As festivals tend to get really muddy you also need to wear rain boots to keep the mud out. Some people dive in anyway but you often don't have a chance to shower so that's actually quite silly.
Anyway festival fashion has been growing in popularity outside music festivals as well and I think that it's totally cool for college. Plus I think her rain boots just look so adorable on her. X3
