Day 4 was much slower, but I finally got a chance to do walk through of the dealer’s den! I got myself a bunch of stickers, some pins, and even an inspirational comic book of Part Time Dragons with an autograph and cute doodle!
I then wandered from place to place, took a few pictures with a few different faces. Nearly got eaten by a tiger, yet managed to make it to see the dance competition for a bit, get some pictures with other birds including another duck! I was starting to wonder if any other quackers would be about. Then I hung out with some folks I had met on the first day, finally cool enough for them to suit up and look amazing in their head and gloves. The last thing I did on the final day was catch a star trek panel before I finally had to waddle on home again.
This picture is how I was looking for the fourth day. I was to lazy to do the green makeup around the eyes I had done on previous days, but My skull buddy and me still had fun even without that particular detail.
As someone getting into actually going out now that I’m older and don’t have the same energy I once had, I caught myself nearly napping a few times while waiting for one thing or another. But I met quite a few great people, am now part of a duck chat group, and have some fresh ideas of things to draw on top of it all! Looking forward to next year and hoping my schedule lines up in the same/a better way so I can attend again. I definitely don’t want to have to do the driving back and forth every day if possible.
Anyway, catch y’all later!
