We're #1!
Got a little excited after helping my team, the Philadelphia Eagles, win a big game, and immediately transformed in the locker room in celebration! Naturally, I had to grab a selfie to commemorate this moment!

Ok sure but just know this:
The Eagles are the only NFC East team to have lost their last Super Bowl appearance
XXVI: Commanders 37 Buffalo 24
XXX: Cowboys 27 Pittsburgh 17
XLVI: Giants 21 New England 17
LVII: Eagles 35 Kansas City 38
oh and every NFC East team has more than one Super Bowl (Cowboys 5, Giants 4, Commanders 3)
Except the Eagles.
That doesn't seem very #1 to me

Still funny how the Eagles are just as old as the Commanders/Redskins yet it took the Redskins 15 years to win the Super Bowl whereas it took the Eagles 50 years
Plus going back to your previous statements
Again, Redskins made the Super Bowl more times than the Eagles have
And the whole "Commanders haven't won a Super Bowl" thing doesn't make sense
This isn't Theseus's Ship it's still the same team just with a different name they never moved cities, and all the Redskins records are with the Commanders so why is that a valid comeback?

the Eagles and the Commanders don't have the same team they had through 90 years. you can't make that argument against the teams playing today.
I didn't argue about the name change. Several teams have changed names.
if you really want to argue championships maybe you should consider the Eagles championships prior to the Super Bowl. they're old too but apparently you don't care about how old that trophies are.

Ok but if you weren't talking about the name change then why did you say in a previous reply:
"The Commanders in name never played in a Super Bowl and they won't this year."
That's still making that nonsensical argument that just because the team rebranded they now "Haven't won a Super Bowl"
And even if we do consider those Pre-Super Bowl era championships the Commanders still have more wins than the Eagles as while yes the Eagles have 3 wins compared to the Commanders 2 that still equates to Commanders 5 Eagles 4
Also can we move the banter somewhere else because this was someone else's comment and now I feel bad for exploding their inbox

No Commanders are better screw the Eagles
But since we're both probably making the playoffs I suppose we should focus our energy instead on trying to get an NFC East team past the first round this time instead of being literally the only division to have both teams eliminated first round
